First it started to rain. Then we got soaked. After words we ran into the building ,while the thunder and lightning lasted for hours.

The battle of Brandy wine was on September 11 1777 I can remember this very well because September 11 was also the date of another important day in history and the 1777 part is pretty easy to remember if it was something like 1754 or 1763 then I wouldn’t be talking about it but nope instead its 1777 it kinda sticks in your brain. The huge fight went down in Philadelphia. It was a day unlike many and George Washington knew that it was coming his spy’s had warned him of the attack being planned by the British so George Washington thought that it would be a good move if he moved his men to the final part of the fort there were a few lines of defense at this fort kinda like a circle within a circle. The patriots were at waiting for the British meanwhile the British were going by sea as to not be spotted but George all ready knew they were coming when the British reached ashore they expected to see men inside the outer wall but were shocked to find it compleatly empty so the British soldiers were expecting them to jump out of some barrels or something but that never happend. after that they went to the inner wall from the outer wall still nobody so  they figured that they should just  sit down in the middle of a american fort and sip some tea. Not there smartest move yet but at least the Patriots were still on the inside or all the British soldiers would be dead. When they were done sipping there tea they finally went inside prepared for a fight. Once they opend the door all you could hear was gun fire the battle lasted for a while but in the end sadly the patriots had no choice but to retreat into the woods. In that battle 93 people had died there were 488 men who were injured. After the war George Washington may just be starting to loose hope.

It is now the year 2017. people say it is going to be a way better year than the year before I don’t really believe that because this is just gonna the same as last year but everybody is gonna climb the ranks this year. everybody will grow a little bit and if they are still in school go up a grade. The thing I am most exited for is Middle school we get to choose our classes and I don’t have to stay with the same class all day long I get to meet new people. I get to do more advanced  stuff on a computer like possibly making my own site. speeking of computers I’m gonna get my own laptop for the year. I am also exited for many other things but this is the one thing that I have been looking forward to for a long time. Lets make 2017 a great year

Pearl harbor was a sad day that forced us into a war that some Americans actually wanted us to become a part of. The war that we were forced into was called World War 2. We were helping England and Russia but all we were really doing to help was giving them some ammo. All of that changed from 1 day December 7th. We were mad I mean really mad. America closed car stores and soon they were making tanks. We were ready for war. We didn’t want to be in this war but Japan bombed us so we really didn’t have a choice. Some men that were only 16-17 were growing  beards to make them selves look older. Japan thought that all of our ships were in Pearl Harbor but only half of it was there but they still didn’t destroy all of that but it did really hurt us. My reflection on Pearl Harbor is it was really bad and it changed the way America thought forever I hope nothing like it will ever happen.

The book the kid who ran for president is about a 12 year old boy in the 6th grade that is running for president of the united state of america. His name is Judson Moon. he has a campaign manager named Lane. He has the vice president or running mate an old African american woman named June Sayers. He has to do many things to become the president. The question is will he win. I really liked this book because it is no only funny but it can teach kids about stuff like politics and voting stuff like that. So in all I would like to say that this book is a great book that I hope that everybody can enjoy.

My favorite season is summer.One of the many reasons I love this season is because my birthday is on this season and plus schools out. Another reason why I love this season is because I can be alone for once. I mean it I can almost never be alone and it’s one of my favorite things to do in life. One other reason why I love summer is because it gives me an excuse to go out and play pokemon go for once. The last reason why I love summer is because I can go swimming almost every day. I hope you understand that I love summer now.
